Problems, like rabbits, multiply if left
Other people's problems if
left will often go away, as they will solve them, but your problems if left,
will usually multiply. So if you
should do something, it is better to do it sooner rather than later, lest it
grow. Would you rather deal with a few rabbits or a plague? A little acorn that
can be pulled out with one hand becomes a tree that needs a chainsaw. Unless
someone else is giving you food, washing your clothes and wiping your bottom,
don't ignore the problems you see. Ignoring a thing doesn't mean it will ignore
you. Nothing in nature stays still - so what isn't dying is growing. As misery
breeds misery, so problems create problems. If you see something you should do,
then do it directly, lest it grow to overwhelm you.
